The birth of this vertical cabinet involved seven steps: cutting → bending → welding → polishing → phosphating → painting → assembly. Each step embodies the "power of details": 
1. Cutting: Precise cutting to define functional boundaries
Equipment: Laser cutting machine (accuracy ± 0.1mm);
Details: According to the design drawings, Q235 steel plates are cut into components such as the main panel of the cabinet, ventilation hole plates, and observation window frames. For example, the large rectangular ventilation holes at the bottom (with a length of 4cm, a width of 1cm, and a horizontal interval of 1cm) were achieved through laser cutting - each hole's position and size are exactly the same, ensuring that air can flow smoothly into the cabinet interior and solve the heat dissipation problem for electronic equipment;
Key point: The accuracy of the cutting directly affects the subsequent assembly. If the ventilation holes deviate, it will cause the internal equipment to not align properly and even affect the heat dissipation efficiency.
2. Bending: Shape formation, creating a three-dimensional structure
Equipment: CNC bending machine (angle error ≤ 0.5°);
Details: The cut plates are bent into the front, side, and top frames of the cabinet. For example, the rectangular frame of the top observation window requires two 90-degree bends to form a closed "frame", ensuring that the embedded tempered glass can fit tightly; The raised bottom base requires multiple bends to form a "step-like" structure, enhancing the stability of the cabinet (preventing it from tipping over);
Key point: The radius of the bending (≥ 1.5 times the plate thickness) must be strictly controlled to avoid the board cracking due to excessive bending, and at the same time ensure the cabinet's squareness (diagonal error ≤ 1mm).
3. Welding: Connecting components to strengthen structural strength
Equipment: Argon arc welding machine (weld seam strength ≥ base material strength);
Details: The bent components are welded together. For example, the seams between the side and front of the cabinet, and the connection between the top frame and the main body, all use argon arc welding - the weld seam is smooth and without spatter, ensuring that the cabinet can withstand the weight of internal equipment and external impacts; The fixation of the observation window frame and the glass uses spot welding to avoid damage to the tempered glass due to high temperature;
Key point: The sealing of the welding is the key point. If there are loopholes in the weld seam, it will cause external dust and moisture to enter the cabinet interior, corroding the electronic components.
4. Grinding: Eliminating flaws, preparing for "beautification"
Equipment: Angle grinder + sanding machine (surface roughness ≤ Ra1.6);
Details: Remove the burrs and surface scratches of the welding seams to make the cabinet surface smooth to a "mirror-like" level. For example, the front of the cabinet in the picture, after grinding, has no protrusions or depressions, providing a smooth base for subsequent phosphating and painting;
Key point: The grinding force should be moderate to avoid excessive grinding that causes the board to become thinner (thickness error ≤ 0.05mm), affecting the structural strength.
5. Phosphating: Bottom-level protection, enhancing coating adhesion
Process: Chemical phosphating (phosphating zinc film);
Details: Place the cabinet in the phosphating tank and through a chemical reaction, a fine phosphating film (thickness 5-10μm) is formed on the surface. This film can enhance the adhesion of the subsequent coating, prevent the coating from peeling off, and also improve the cabinet's rust resistance (2-3 times higher than un-phosphated boards);
Key point: The water washing after phosphating must be thorough to avoid residual phosphating liquid from corroding the board.
6. Painting: Dual upgrade of appearance and protection
Equipment: Electrostatic powder spraying line (coating thickness ≥ 60μm);
Details: Use polyester powder coating (light beige color), the process includes:
Pre-treatment: Remove surface oil stains with degreasing agent;
Phosphating: As mentioned above;
Spraying: Attach the powder evenly to the cabinet surface through electrostatic adsorption;
Curing: Bake in a 180℃ oven for 20 minutes to form a hard coating;
Effect: The surface of the cabinet in the picture is smooth and uniform in color, not only enhancing industrial aesthetics (the light beige color conforms to the cleanliness of factories, hospitals, etc.), but also resisting the erosion of industrial exhaust, humid environment, and slight impacts, extending the service life.
